And for the more visible grinds the 14” radius platen that simulates a 28” wheel.
Product description
These platens are used for making s-grinds on kitchen knifes or making hollow grinds.
All platens are made of a hardox curved contact platen and a mild steel backplaten welded to each other.
The advantage of hardox is that it wont be affected by heat like hardened carbon steel does and its very wear resistent.
All the radius platens are made to order. Just give us a sketch with dimensions of your platen and we can make it like that.
So can be made for all brand machines or homemade grinders.
